Массовые модели Subaru славятся своей надёжностью – даже вариатор этой фирмы с цепью вместо ремня отличается на фоне конкурентов завидной живучестью. Но иногда даже у Subaru находятся досадные производственные дефекты, из-за которых порой приход приходится менять машины целиком – в США такое случалось уже дважды. Дефект на подлежащих отзыву машин в российской спецификации, к счастью, не требует возврата уже проданных кроссоверов и выдачи потребителям новых, хотя многие, наверное, были бы рады вместо изрядно побегавшего кроссовера 2017 года выпуска получить новенький, 2019 года. Вот как описывает выявленную проблему Росстандарт:
«Причиной отзыва транспортных средств является то, что из-за ошибки в программировании блока управления двигателем в определенных обстоятельствах напряжение на катушке зажигания может сохраняться после выключения двигателя дольше, чем это предусмотрено. В результате длительного сохранения напряжения на катушке зажигания её внутренняя температура может возрастать, что, в свою очередь, может привести к короткому замыканию. Более того, на автомобилях, оснащенных определенными жгутами проводов и модулями зажигания, которые были произведены исключительно для затронутых автомобилей, возможно перегорание предохранителя, что приводит к остановке двигателя и невозможности его повторного запуска».
Всего под отзыв попали 7442 кроссовера, список их VIN-номеров можно скачать здесь. Механики авторизованных сервисных центров Subaru бесплатно для автовладельцев перепрограммируют блок управления двигателем, проверят катушки зажигания и заменят их в случае необходимости.

Отметим, что среднеразмерный кроссовер Forester – самая популярная модель Subaru в России: за первые три квартала этого года реализовано 3671 шт., тогда как компактный XV привлёк 758 покупателей. Всего за девять месяцев японская марка продала в нашей стране 5251 автомобиль, что на 5% меньше, чем за первые три квартала прошлого года.
